Today I have created a bon voyage card for my son as he heads off to Oxford University in the UK to study for an MBA. I procured the cute Reverse Confetti Bear Hugs stamp set a while ago and I thought that I would make a Koala card to remind him of Oz. I have worked with the Reverse Confetti July sketch challenge.
The cute koala’s just had to be surrounded by some gum leaves-after all they do munch their way through about 500 grams of leaves per day. I created a green and gold Australian colours stencil branches background which I then coated in glitter paste to reflect the bling of the Australian sun.
Supplies used:
Stamps: Reverse Confetti Bear Hugs, Reverse Confetti Paper Crane
Dies; MFT Wonky Stitched rectangles
Inks: Altenew evergreen and warm sunshine, Memento black, Versafine black, Versamark
Other: Joggles stencil branches, white embossing powder, watercolour paper, Bo Bunny Glitter paste Sugar, Zig real brush markers, vellum
Thank you so much for stopping by.
How exciting for him! Your card choices were ideal for this occasion and the added ‘sugar’ looks amazing!
