Today I have created a Mother’s Day card by watercolouring the gorgeous Penny Black “Bejeweled” stamp using dye ink brush markers. I coloured each component of the image with the markers, building layers from light to dark, misting each layer very lightly with water, before stamping with my Misti tool. I used a fine liner brush to paint some fine veins to the leaves and then added some background spatter detail.
Supplies used:
Stamps: Penny Black Bejeweled, Mothers Day sentiment
Dies: MFT/Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Scallop frame
Other: Dye ink brush markers, watercolour paper, Pretty Pink Posh clear drops, Dark grey/black card, Wink of Stella clear brush, white embossing powder.
I am entering this card in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge-Spring or Easter and the Penny Black and More April Challenge-Spring.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope that you have a great crafting day.
This is stunning! Love it!
